Role in the ISU ADVANCE Program
Dr. Shauna Hallmark is an Associate Professor and the ADVANCE Professor of Civil, Construction & Environmental Engineering (CCCE). CCCE became a round 2 focal department in the fall of 2008 (Year 3). She is a member of the ADVANCE Council and the College of Engineering Leadership Council, and she participates in the Equity Advisor/ADVANCE Professor group, which meets twice monthly. She also helps coordinate breakfast and lunch informal discussions with College of Engineering women faculty. She participates in presentations to non-focal departments in the College of Engineering. Dr. Hallmark also was involved in the 2009 ADVANCE Chairs workshop about promotion and tenure.
