Jill Pruetz
Jill Pruetz is an Associate Professor in Anthropology. She studies the behavior of non-human primates, conducting field work in various countries including Peru, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Kenya and Senegal. She was named a National Geographic Emerging Explorer for 2008 in part for her world renowned research on savanna chimpanzees in Senegal. She is also a co-founder of the non-profit organization DANTA: Association for Conservation of the Tropics.

Amy Kaleita
Amy Kaleita is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. She is interested in the role of globalization in engineering and technology education. Her research focuses on information technology for precision conservation.

Leonor Leandro
Leonor Leandro is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology. She has lived and studied in Portugal, England, and the United States. Her research focuses on the biology and epidemiology of fungi that cause diseases on soybeans, with particular emphasis on soilborne pathogens.

Malika Jeffries-EL is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry. She is a member of the American Chemical Society and the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers.

Julie Dickerson
Julie Dickerson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She is a Carver Fellow in the Virtual Reality Applications Center. Her research focuses on systems biology, bioinformatics, pattern recognition, and data visualization.

Jackie Shanks is a professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. Her research interests include biochemical engineering, plant metabolic engineering, NMR-based flux analysis, and metabolic engineering of biorenewable chemicals.
